Malé (26/08 – 30.00) South Asia’s largest hospitality tradeshow, Hotel Asia 2022, will take place from October 10 to 12 with the much-awaited International Culinary in Dharubaaruge – Male’, for which several Resorts, Hotels, Restaurants, Food and Beverage establishments from Sri Lanka and many other countries have also confirmed participation.
The event is being held after a lapse of two years and this year 2022 is a very special year for the Maldivian Tourism Industry as it celebrates the 50th Golden year of tourism.
It is therefore timely that the Hotel Asia Exhibition and International culinary challenge returns to Male after a lapse of two years, owing to the global pandemic.
Hosted as the 16th edition, the exhibition will attract the leaders, key stakeholders from the regions leisure Industry into the Maldives over the three days in October. The International Culinary Challenge will also attract hundreds of chefs from around the Maldives into Male, setting the stage for celebration and growth within the Hospitality Industry.
Hotel Asia is organized by Maldives Exhibition and Conference Services (Pvt) Ltd and Bestbuy Maldives (Pvt.) Ltd, the main sponsors and partners of the exhibition since the inception. TTS Maldives joins the event this year as the Official Logistics Partner.
Many foreign exhibitors see Hotel Asia as an opportunity to propel their hospitality products and services to the Maldives and other countries as top brands and suppliers who have excelled in the hospitality industry usually attend the exhibition. The event is also an arena for buyers to explore and source from recognized brands, network directly with international manufacturers whilst discovering the latest developments and trends in the market.
One of the major attractions of the exhibition will be the Culinary Challenge which has a history of building world class chefs over the years. This year the competition will see 650 entries from 500 Chefs competing in over 20 categories.
